innisfree JUICY GLOSS PENCIL

hello! i have just checked on the number of visits to my previous review blog on THE ODBO SUNBLOCK PACT and i was shocked to see e number of visits on that post.. LOL. and im even more encouraged to do a better personal reviews on products. 

so, here is the second personal review!

the gloss pencil is from innisfree! i did my homework on this brand (not product) before leaving for korea. jiaqi told me that i couldnt find this brand in singapore. so i knew i had to get something (or anything) from this brand, even if it serve no purpose. puaysee's mighty theory. never leave a foreign country w regrets. dont come back to singapore and tell me "had i known" or "aiya, should have bought it". i will probably roll eyes at you. you flew all the way there to save money? no logic works that way!  so, be happy and splurge! 

after doing some homework, i knew i want the BB cream. i will review abt this when im free. 

i shopped around while im in innisfree! and this particular lipgloss caught my eyes. yes, packaging is the contributing factor! i swatched it on my hand and i love the colour! PINK! 

the color is a baby pink shade and it smells so goooood! i knew i will never be able to pull off with a red lips so i didnt even consider those. i love the pink lips that korean girls have in korean drama! 

im not gg into details like what the ingredients are or the prices. you can easily get those information from google. im going to tell you how i feel about this product!

self explanatory, there are 5 shades! and i bought 03, strawberry sorbet! 

im a mountain tortise! i thought my lips will turn blue when i swatch the 02. hahaha, you may proceed to laugh at my idioticness. 

how cute! as explained in the name of the product, pencil. it looks like a crayon!

so you turn the backside and it comes out more!

this is how it looks like on my hand. such sweet pink!

i applied on my lips and kiss a tissue paper. the color is really subtle. you wont be standing out in the crowd. you wont be labelled as the pink lips girl. however, the color does appear on ur lips (but not obvious). i love this because people will not give me the your-lipstick-smudge or your-lipstick-faded look after ur meal. reason is IT IS NOT OBVIOUS IN THE FIRST PLACE!

so even if you didnt touch up after your meal, you wont look very different. 

im saying this because my food will definitely touch my lips whenever i eat. i dont open my mouth big enough to send food in without touching my lips. im even lazy to chew let alone opening mouth right. 

even after kissing the tissue paper, my lips still have the color (i dont say). my purpose is that this gloss pencil does cover the black patch of my lips! so, love!

the coverage of this gloss pencil is good. it does cover up the darker patch of my lips and even out the colour. however it does not last for a long time. (it is probably my problem!)

i really love the color of the shade that i got (02) and the scent! i know some people are into fragrance-free as it seems to be healthier without that artificial ingredient. but im okay with this because im a sucker for nice-smelling products!

the gloss pencil takes the shape of a crayon. however, what do i do after many applies and it loses that shape? will it be difficult to apply onto my lips?? i have found a solution for you, USE A BRUSH! it's more hygienic that way! i doubt i will do that anyway because im a lazy bum!

if you read till this sentence, im going to say something important. this is your reward for reading so far down! i have been talking about the color and scent. as much as they are important to me, another factor that you may want to consider getting this is that this is a lipgloss that is NOT sticky! YES NON-STICK AT ALL. lipgloss that doesnt stick!

this product will be suitable for people
1. who love pink
2. who are suckers for sweet scented products
3. who doesnt mind gg for a touch up frequently
4. with long hair. your hair will not stick to ur lips when the wind blows in future! best of both worlds! long, silky hair and pretty, sexy lips!

just point 4 alone, GET IT! this doesnt cost much anyway!

fun tips 1:
dont lick your lips when they are dry. bad habit. im trying really hard to kick this bad habit away! it will dries up your lips further!

fun tips 2:
if you have the luxury of time, apply your favorite lipbalm 10 minutes before lipstick/juicy gloss pencil. then apply a layer of glittery gloss on the middle area of ur lips to make them poppy! (it might be a little too dramatic but i really love how kissable my lips look after tt!) but ur lips will be sticky after tt. thus, you can stop at e second step!

Grin Affair w my babylover

hello folks! decided to go grin affair w my lover after knowing that their cakes are packaged in a jar! so cute! 

grin affair is a cafe-like concept except that it is located at a void deck! they are located at 3 everton park! you can google for their address easily! For lazy and cheapskate people like me, take a train to outram park then hop onto a cab. the cab fare will cost ard $3+. it should be walking distance, but considering we have to find the place, walking will not be an ideal choice. 

the first impression when i step in is omggggg, is this e correct place? am i in an haunted hse? the place is dark and the place look quite rundown. disappointed. however, since we are there, we must try the desserts right? 

upon looking at the menu, it's disappointment x2. there arent many variety to choose from! however i picked the safest strawberry! 

the moment i see my dessert being taken out from the fridge, my disappointment dissipated~  it's so pretty!!!! and i love how it taste as well! yes, desserts are meant to be sweet! 

we are lucky that there were no people when we arrive because they can at most accommodate 10 people. not a good place to chill for a long time! hmmmm. 

after finishing the desserts, i wanted to wash the jar at the basin in the shop, so that i can take home (YES, YOU CAN TAKE HOME THIS LITTLE PRETTY JAR!). however, the tap is not working. okcan. 

we went to vivo to wash the jar!

walked ard vivo w my lover! <3 yes, simple things like this, walking ard can be blissful! like i have always said, it is e company that matter. it doesnt matter wad we do, or whr we are. it is about who we are with. there are moments when we were silent. but we are comfortable w it. :D

went to the king louis for dinner! omggggg. i love the placeee! prices are affordable, no crowd, yummy food, seaview! 

never a fan of potato because they can get really dry for my throat. but their potato is <3! 

it is not difficult to find, because it is just beside daiso!

we had marcheeeeee~ and as usual, because of us, the restaurant is filled w laughters! a bunch of 21s laughing and giggling like a bunch of teenage girls. so cute right us?

after dinner, went toilet w xiuhui. we return to 3 cupcakes and a candle! :D :D :D surprise! because our tradition is we will ask wad the birthday girl wants and will try to fulfill it. i asked for cards and balloons because i really have no idea wad i wanted. i was so sad when i dont see any of them with balloons! T___T

hahah nevertheless, marche prepared tons of balloons for us! thickskin me took it! otw home, huimin flick my hand and the balloon drop to somehwr beyond reach T_______T x2 

then they mailed me the cards and letters from all over singapore! woodlands, clementi, and tiong bahru! it really makes me happy whenever i receive mails from letterbox! beats email!

The odbo SUN BLOCK PACT

jiaqi told me that i can write "reviews" about the products that i have bought since i frequent watsons or blah blah.  so im doing my first personal review. 

this is not a paid bias review. this is from my point of view. 

im dedicating my first review post to "The odbo SUN BLOCK PACT"

im inserting this post ahead because im afraid you all will be tired of seeing my face in every post. and you might not be interested in my lifestyle.

i got to know this product because of my korean tour guide who insisted that i can choose not to buy any products in the shop but i have to get this product. 
despite not using this product before, i got myself more than ten boxes of this sunblock.

to my delight, this is THE sunblock for me. ever since, i have not used a sunblock that replaces this is my heart. im using the last pact right now.. and i think im as good as dead if this finishes. :( yes, i have just return from korea, but i didnt buy a single item from THE ODBO because i couldnt find the shop. FUCKMYLIFE.

odbo's sunblock has spf50 pa+++, it is used to block out uva and uvb. the higher the better, but the higher they are, they more they clog pores and are oily! but this is different, it is in a pact form, not the usual watery kind. ur skin is velvet smooth after the application of this product!

the packaging is really hygienic, pretty and chic! there is a plastic to act as a separator for the sponge and the product itself.  so you can just change the sponge if you find it dirty. whr got time to wash, sponge at daiso cost only $2. ur time definitely cost more than $2 right?

now i get what the tour guide's message of "you can choose not to buy any products in the shop but i have to get this product."

i couldnt find this in singapore. this is sort of like a sister brand to faceshop. if you find this in singapore, please tell me, im willing to pay the price difference between sgd and korean won. but if you are going to korea, JUST STOCK UP.

hi odbo, please come to singapore. i need you badly. i need you desperately. i dare not purchase it from Qoo.com as much as it is a reliable website, im skeptical about it. i feel like my face will rot upon touching them. i prefer to touch before purchasing. heh.

fun tips 1:
if you never use sunblock, freckles will haunt you
fun tips 2:
spf and pa are not accumulative. which is to say, you use product A (spf 40 pa ++) and odbo (spf50 pa+++), your protection is only spf50, pa +++ and not spf90 pa+++++

a surprise from my 6E

annchee's plan:

tricked me to wait at busstop for her. then eric and her will drive down and appear infront of me to surprise me. 

my plan:

meet annchee, have lunch tgt, lepak, dinner tgt. home w a smile and tons of pictures. 

reality:

i waited at the busstop and annchee told me she is waiting for the bus as well. so i board the next bus naturally and i found no annchee on board. then i saw xinyi in the bus. so i couldnt answer annchee's call for the entire journey since xinyi had been talking to me. 

then annchee asked me to wait at the taxi stand until a black car stopped beside me. and i saw two shadows waving to me! both of them v cute right! i was shocked.

and the drove me to changi village's chock full of beans! it's western stylee brunch and it's yummy! im not a fan of wholemeal bread but their bread is so fluffy!

we decided to watch movie after brunch. but it turned out that there are no slots. :( never the less, we walked around until it is time for annchee and i to head to chinatown for dinner at 2d1n soju bang! eric had smth else at night, so he left us! while waiting for CT18, pamela appeared saying she is otw to meet her friends! 

then she had a change in plan and decided to "follow" us. hahaha. eat eat eat. then we headed back to our hse void deck. then they revealed it to us that the cake is for me! it was a rainbow cake! so pretty! and they got me a swarovski  hellokitty necklace! i feel really bad for burning a hole in their pockets. 

i even know that nelson drove out to collect the cake earlier in the day.. it's only me, a normal person, yet they went thru so much efforts to make this day such a memorable one.. :')
